Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to Arusha City. Located at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit. After checking into your lodge, spend the remainder of the day relaxing and recovering from your flight while enjoying the peaceful surroundings and preparing for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and large elephant herds that gather along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full day game drive while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, impalas, and numerous bird species. Lions and leopards are also commonly sighted. Following a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Drive to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The route passes through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, offering spectacular views and occasional wildlife sightings. Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains that have made the park legendary. Search for elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and vast herds of grazing animals. As the sun sets over the savannah, arrive at your camp and enjoy an authentic wilderness experience.

Day 4
Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you travel north toward the Kogatende region of Northern Serengeti. This area becomes the focal point of the Great Migration between July and October when thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather near the Mara River. Along the route, continue searching for resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and giraffes. Arrive in Northern Serengeti and spend the afternoon exploring this wildlife rich region before settling into camp.

Day 5
Full Day Game Viewing in Northern Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the Mara River ecosystem and following the movements of the Great Migration. Your guide will position you in the best locations to observe wildlife activity and potential river crossings. Although crossings cannot be guaranteed, the area offers exceptional opportunities to witness large herds, crocodiles, lions, hyenas, and other predators that follow the migration. The varied landscape of woodlands, kopjes, rivers, and open plains provides excellent wildlife viewing throughout the day.

Day 6
Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Central Serengeti while enjoying game drives along the way. The central region is renowned for its year-round wildlife concentration and exceptional predator sightings. Search for lions resting on rocky kopjes, leopards hidden in acacia trees, and cheetahs scanning the plains. Large herds of buffaloes, zebras, and antelopes are commonly encountered. Continue exploring until evening before arriving at your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7
Morning Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti while wildlife is most active. This is an excellent opportunity for last-minute sightings and photography before departing the park. After lunch, continue through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, where rolling hills, forests, and volcanic landscapes create a dramatic contrast to the Serengeti plains. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and enjoy panoramic views before dinner and overnight.

Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater – Drive Back to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to approximately 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and numerous bird species. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to your hotel or airport according to your travel plans.
