WHY THIS SAFARI IS SPECIAL..?

A Truly Untouched African Wilderness

This safari offers a rare opportunity to experience Africa in its most authentic and untouched form. While many safari destinations have become increasingly developed for tourism, the Loita Hills remain one of the last truly unspoiled wilderness areas in East Africa. Here, there are no crowded tourist routes, luxury lodges, or busy highways. Instead, you will discover vast landscapes, pristine forests & rolling hills.

The Perfect Combination of Wildlife and Adventure

What makes this journey unique is the combination of two extraordinary experiences in one adventure. You begin with thrilling wildlife viewing in the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the legendary Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The reserve is also renowned for its incredible abundance of wildlife & breathtaking savannahs.

A Four & Day Walking Safari Through Maasai Land

The adventure then takes a completely different turn as you embark on a four day walking safari through the remote Loita Hills. Accompanied by experienced Maasai guides and supported by pack donkeys carrying your equipment, you will travel the traditional way, exploring areas inaccessible to vehicles. Walking through ancient forests, crossing scenic valleys, climbing gentle hills, and visiting authentic Maasai villages allows you to connect deeply with both nature and local culture.

Experience Africa Beyond the Safari Vehicle

Unlike conventional safaris where wildlife is viewed primarily from a vehicle, this trek immerses you in the sights, sounds, and rhythms of the African wilderness. Every step brings a new perspective on the landscape. Along the way, your Maasai guides share their knowledge of wildlife tracking, medicinal plants & survival skills.

A Spectacular Finish at Lake Magadi

The journey concludes at the remarkable Lake Magadi, a stunning soda lake known for its dramatic scenery, sparkling salt flats, and seasonal gatherings of flamingos. The lake’s unique landscapes provide excellent opportunities for photography and relaxation after your trek. On clear days, visitors can enjoy sweeping views that extend toward northern Tanzania.

For Travelers Seeking the Real Africa

This is not a typical safari designed for mass tourism. It is an expedition for adventurous travelers who want genuine cultural encounters, remote wilderness experiences, and a deeper connection with the African continent. If you dream of exploring places where traditional lifestyles, untouched landscapes, and authentic adventures still exist.
